WELCOME TO
Dorset Hall Road Nursery Childcare Tottenham, North London
Our Nursery (located on Dorset Road), just off West Green Road, was opened in 2016 and is a lovely, bright home away from home environment for children from the ages of twelve months to five years. The nursery was renovated before opening in 2016 and has been furnished to a high standard.
We are a medium-sized setting where around 40 children can attend per day. Opening hours are 7:30am to 6:30pm, 50 weeks of the year. The nursery has availability for 15 and 30 hours early years education entitlement placement.
Dorset Hall Nursery is in an ideal location, within walking distance to several TFL Underground and Overground stations as well as bus routes.
OFSTED Report 2019: GOOD
In April 2019, Dorset Hall Nursery was rated a ‘Good’ provider by Ofsted.
Our Facilities
Dorset Hall Nursery is an open-plan, shared space which allows children aged two to five years to move freely and interact with each other, thus benefiting from shared experiences.
Children under the age of two benefit from having a dedicated toddler’s area in the nursery with plenty of opportunities for exploration, sensory play and cosy areas whilst still being able to visit and interact with the older children should they like. This is especially good for siblings in our setting and provides a positive experience when children turn two and transition to the pre-school area. The nursery rooms are located on the first floor:
- Baby Room – children from the age of twelve months to two years
- Pre-School Room – children from the age of two to five years
Gardens
We have a spacious, private, outdoor garden located on the ground floor which the children visit daily. We take full advantage of warm weather and enjoy ample outdoor time, allowing our children to explore and experience the natural world around them.
We regularly go on outings to the local parks and places of interest, and have also visited further afield, for example an urban farm.
We also have use of a private mini bus to assist pre-school children to go on outings.
